G&T Congratulates Gary Mullett on his Retirement After 36 Years

Everyone at G&T would like to take a moment to congratulate one of our salesmen at our Byron Center, Michigan location, Gary Mullett, on his retirement after 36 years with our company. Gary began his career at G&T working on the production floor in 1978 where he had a crash course in foam fabrication and seating foam. “When I first started polyurethane foam was just coming into use,” he recalls. From this position Gary quickly worked his way through the production side of the business to General Manager and on to a sales position where he has been delighting customers for over a decade.

As an employee owned ESOP, we place high value in our employees. Although it will be difficult to say farewell to someone who has been a part of the G&T family for so long, Gary has more than earned his retirement.

“This is a special company,” said Gary. “This company has been a huge part of my life.”

Gary will be enjoying his retirement working on his new house and boat in Florida. When asked how he planned on spending his days after retirement, he joked “I will be doing a lot of fishing, I can tell you that.”
