JOIN US TO COLLECT DIAPERS FOR THE UNITED WAY’S DIAPER DRIVE

In September of 2014, Michigan held a first ever “Diaper Need Awareness Week.” Although the event was a huge success, the needs continue and G&T has joined the United Way to further the cause.

In Kent County, MI, one in four babies is born into poverty and many parents struggle to afford an adequate supply of diapers. With few assistance programs available, there are many significant health, physical and emotional risks to babies as a result.

You can help by supporting our efforts and purchasing disposable diapers to donate to our community; preferably sizes 2 and up. Please place disposable diapers in the donation box in the G&T lobby at 1001 76^th St SW, Byron Center, MI by Friday, March 27^th. The donations will be distributed through First Steps Kent, an independent, influential and neutral entity that leads the community’s efforts to strengthen and coordinate early childhood services in Kent County.
